We took the opportunity to present our projects, including RétenCité, an initiative aimed at promoting sustainable stormwater management in Laval through the implementation of rain gardens and green infrastructure.

On site, both children and adults took part in our awareness activities, including a colouring mural titled “Green Your City” and a memory game about plants. These activities led to many conversations about water-related issues and urban greening. It was a great opportunity to introduce families, in a fun and engaging way, to how they can contribute to greener and more resilient neighbourhoods!
