On April 9, in Drummondville, more than 200 people gathered around an issue that is deeply important to us: the fight against invasive alien plant species in Quebec.
Conferences, panels, a “human library,” networking… the day was rich in exchanges, learning, and connections between field practitioners, researchers, municipalities, and civil society actors.
A huge thank you to the thirty or so speakers who shared their expertise and experience, and who brought this outstanding program to life. Your generosity and commitment are at the heart of what makes this event so valuable.
Special thanks go to our Laval partners who made the trip to Drummondville. Your presence and engagement were greatly appreciated!
We also thank all participants from across Quebec for their active presence, their questions, and the quality of the discussions. It is collectively that we will move this issue forward.
This forum is a joint initiative of the regional environmental councils (CRE) of Centre-du-Québec, Estrie, Montérégie, Montréal, and Laval.
This project is funded by the Government of Quebec under the Nature Plan 2030.
