CRE de Laval is pleased to launch a first activity with CANOPÉE, hoping it will mark the beginning of a lasting and fruitful collaboration!

Discover the concepts of nordicity and solastalgia in an immersive activity alternating guided reflective walks and sharing circles. As a group, we will discuss our relationship with winters in Laval and the evolution of Quebec’s winters. How do you experience nordicity? What are your memories of winter? And above all, how can we make the most of nordicity today?

You are invited to take some time to slow down and pay attention to the trees, the sounds, the smells, and the texture of the snow under your boots. Let’s appreciate what we still have while in the context of climate change and share our love of the land as a way to both act and advocate.

• Yoga mat or camping chair for the sharing circles

• Warm, layered clothing

• Good winter boots
