The special programming for the 30th anniversary of CRE de Laval has been unveiled!
April 20: Free creative activity for youth aged 10 to 18! This will be an opportunity to have fun while reflecting on the future of Laval: participants will be invited to create a postcard representing Laval in 2050. This special evening will also serve as a space for discussion on mental health in the context of climate change.
No registration is required for this activity!
April 30: Comedy show featuring Dhanaé Audet-Beaulieu and Coralie LaPerrière! These two comedians will explore environmental themes with a light touch, making the audience laugh while also encouraging reflection. Please note that this activity has a fee ($15 for CRE de Laval members and $20 for non-members); it’s the sign you’ve been waiting for to join CRE de Laval!

September 15: Conference on degrowth with Yves-Marie Abraham. After defining what “convivial degrowth” is, this talk will present the main reasons for supporting this idea. Beyond the fact that a “green economy” is not possible, it will be shown that it is not desirable in light of the fundamental values of Quebec society. Finally, pathways toward a transition to a post-growth world will be outlined.
The registration link will be shared at a later date (free activity, but registration required).
October 15: Closing event. A friendly 5 à 7-style gathering to reconnect and share anecdotes and highlights from the history of CRE de Laval over the past 30 years.
The registration link will be shared at a later date (free activity, but registration required).
We would like to warmly thank the Montmorency College, which will host the comedy show and the conference in the Salle Claude-Legault.
