From October 16 to 23, 2021, the Front commun pour la transition énergétique and the first four Chantiers ZéN (Zero Net Emissions Projects) will have their very first Semaine d’actions ZéN (Week of Zero Net Emissions Actions). The Chantiers ZéN are bringing together local players that wish to turn their territory into a « Collectivité ZéN » (Zero Net Emissions Collectivity), more resilient and more supportive. The first four Chantiers are ClimAction Lachine, Laval ZéN, Chantier ZéN de la région de Québec and Grand dialogue régional pour la transition socio-écologique du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean.

During each Semaine d'actions ZéN, which will be planned twice a year starting in the Fall of 2021, Chantiers ZéN and their partners will offer to the population of their respective territories a wide range of activities to encourage citizens to take action towards carbon neutrality. The Semaine d'actions ZéN will also be an opportunity to highlight events hosted by group members and partners of the Front commun across Quebec, as well as in some communities where Chantiers ZéN are at the seeding stage.
