Useful tips for the redaction of a brief  :

A brief can take many shapes and forms, be it a very extensive document or a short one made of only a few pages. It may be either very technical and scientific, or present more personal dimensions. In all cases, the advisory committee will have to read it and take it into account.

A brief is usually made of the following sections :

- Presentation of the author and the ways in which he/she will be affected by the suggested projects ;
- Presentation of the arguments regarding some specific aspects of the presented projects (explaining how the author approves or not) ;
- Recommendations related to the aspects discussed in the arguments.
